My name is Deborah Donnelly-McLay, and I am a pilot with UPS and also working at Harvard University on a project to research pilot health. I am really excited to be a part of this group! I would like to touch base with you regarding a request for your pilot group participation in the anonymous Harvard University Pilot Health Study. We have been active for a few weeks now and have global participation in this important survey. Unfortunately, we only have 3% female participation. I would love to increase this number! I am attaching an image of our postcard with the information, if you are able to post this at your airline and in your social media. I would also like to include the following please:
Researchers at Harvard University, are conducting the largest anonymous airline pilot health study to date.(www.pilothealthstudy.org) This study is open to current, retired, and airline and corporate pilots. It will be used to research the environmental effects of the unique cockpit environment. Including fatigue, air quality, radiation, noise, and additional areas. To date, the study has pilots from over 23 countries participating. We would like you to participate and pass it on to your fellow pilots. Safety is enhanced through knowledge!
